READING DAY

Our school observed Reading Day on 19th June with great enthusiasm under the auspices of the Malayalam Club. The celebrations marked the beginning of Reading week, which was observed from 19th to 21st June. A special assembly was conducted to commemorate the occasion. Students activity participated by presenting book reviews and sharing inspiring messages on the importance of reading. The gathering was further enriched by an enlightening message delivered by Principal Sr.Leena, who emphasized the value of books in shaping knowledge and character. A student recited a beautiful poem and a chart exhibition highlighting the significance of reading was also organised. As part of the Reading week celebrations, various competitions such as quiz contests, reading activities and appreciation programmes were conducted. Those events encouraged students to cultivate a love for reading and to recognise the immense value of books in their lives. The celebrations were both informative and inspiring , leaving a lasting impression on all participants and reinforcing the message that Reading is the gateway to knowledge .

We provide a solid foundation which allows each student to make a positive impact in the community.

Our History

The Indian mission was the dream and desire of mother Alba Pescatori, who was then the Superior General of the Congregation. The dream was happily realized by her staunch faith in God and preserving prayer and sacrifice. A group of 4 Venerini Sisters led by Sr.Lea Altigieri landed in India and they were accommodated by the Sisters of Charity in Calicut. With the help of late Bishop Rt.Rev. Aldo Maria Patroni and Rev.Fr.Joseph Vergotini S.J, the sisters could find a small plot with a house which belonged to late.Mr.John Valander...
